This Girl Does

You might be noticing a few changes on my blog, there are even more coming soon.

I have decided in order to simplify my life somewhat from now on I am going to stay in one place. That means that I won't be only posting my crafting on here anymore, I want to use this for all aspects of my life, crafting, gardening, my weight loss journey and along with my love of all things weird and wonderful.

I do hope that you understand my need to change things up a little, trying to be me is hard work most days so trying to be me when I am so fragmented and spread all over the place is just not working any more.

I am currently battling with 2 EMA's for uni (which is obviously the perfect time to have my mind of completely changing my online presence right?) as soon as they are done and handed in I will be sharing an insufferable amount of my life with you all....don't say wasn't warned.

If this is no longer for you then that's fine, thank you for sticking around this long and have a great life!

For those of you who decide to stick around and see where we end up....hold on tight and enjoy the ride!

Until next time stay happy.

It's been a while

It feels like forever since I last crafted, for those who know me personally will know that I took on new responsibilities at work in September so between those and my trying to get my degree finished there hasn't been much time to craft in between.

I am okay with that, it just means when I do make something it makes it that little bit more special...I am also in the middle of the biggest de-stash I've ever done so hopefully I will find some inspiration among the boxes full of stuff!

I am sharing a card today that I made with a gorgeous Easter Chicks stamp from Ikes Art. All of the papers have been taken from a designer sample book of wallpaper, the flowers are from wild orchid crafts and the other bits are just things I've had for too many years.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Day 9 of 31 Days of Halloween

I am well and truly failing this year! You know those months where if it can go wrong it will? Yup I'm having one of those. I am having to try and blog from my phone and tablet after taking my pc apart, I will get it fixed at some point I hope!

The yesterday I was all ready to sit and create ready to share and my washing machine decided that it would be much more fun to empty a full load of water all over the floor rather than just drain it down the pipes. the washing machine was fulled out and after some fixing and trouble shooting I decided I was onto a losing battle and went to buy a brand new one.

Now before you say "but you could have got someone in to fix it cheaper" let me tell you I've had that machine for a few years, it was second hand and £30 from eBay when my old ancient machine gave up on me and I just needed a cheap option while I looked for a new one. It was the best £30 I had ever spent and it did exactly what I needed it to for longer that I expected.

So here we are a day later, several loads of laundry washed and Ive actually been able to create!!!!

I am sharing another page from my altered book today, the stamps I've used are from Smeared Ink and Stampin' Up!

Day 6 of 31 days of Halloween

I'm sorry I didn't get a post up yesterday, I have picked up a viral infection and was feeling awful yesterday, still don't feel great but I certainly feel better than I did.

Today I am sharing an ATC I've made using stamps and paper from Stampin' Up!
