Oh boy am I excited to share this months blog hop piece with you. The theme for this one is Redrum. For me 2 things come to mind, the first being the famous race horse and the 2nd is the shining so I have used a bit of both as inspiration for my piece.
Before I go on here is the full blog roll so you can take a look at the other pieces.
The first thing I did to this journal page was to stamp over it with the hands prints from the smeared ink prints set, I then wrote redrum all over it with a a bingo marker and then inked over it through a piece of Punchinella Sequin Waste. The image that I have used on the front is one of the brand new images drawn by Ike that will be coming to the Smeared Ink store real soon.
My Smeared Ink DT piece for this week is some stamped mirrored coasters. I picked them up a few weeks ago and they've been sat waiting for me to do something with them :)
I have stamped onto the coasters using 2 of the stamps from the Quoth the Raven rubber set from Smeared Ink. this set can be found here as part of the rubber club. For those who do not know about the smeared ink rubber club check out the link here.
Be sure to come and check out the challenges and run over at the Smeared and Smudged forum, there is something for everyone on there.
I am entering these into the following challenges:
The new challenge has started over at Delicious Doodles, this time we are going bright and cheerful with the theme yellow and bloom.
For my piece I have made a card for a friend. This friend is always so busy taking care of other people despite being poorly herself so I wanted to send her a little something to let her know that I appreciate her.
I have used the gorgeous Daisies with Butterfly and I coloured it in with promarkers. I then added a sentiment from one of the hostess stamp sets from Stampin' Up!

This weeks challenge at Delicious Doodles is ribbon and bling, for my piece I have made a card using woodland friends, I coloured her in with promarkers then added some glitter to her wings. I have added a ribbon and a few more bits of bling on there too. Delicious Doodles are having a DT call too so if you fancy trying out have a look on the blog here.

Welcome to the last day of hopping with us on our bloody valentine hop. I am sharing 2 pieces today, the first is a card made using Tell Tale Heart from IKE's ART, a piece of the story and then on the background I've used the small hearts rubber stamp from the heart wings rubber set from Smeared Ink.
My next piece is a page that I made using another of IKE's images this time I used Face on. I have added a bubble wrap heart as it fits in with my junk funk challenge on the smeared and smudged forum. To make this heart I used a hypodermic needle and injected some glimmer mist into each of the bubbles I wanted to be coloured. I can tell you now I would never make a nurse! It took me several attempts as I was a little too heavy handed for most of them LOL
Here is the full blog roll for you to have a look at all the other fab projects today
Here we are with day 2 of the Bloody Valentine hop hosted by Smeared and smudged. Today I am sharing 3 pieces, the first is my personal blog piece, the 2nd is for IKE's WORLD Challenges which is currently hosting a valentines challenge so if you use any of IKE's images in your creations you can link them up there and the 3rd piece is my piece for Quoth the Raven who are also having a love themed challenge and we would love to see your entries there too if they are fitting. Don't forget if you use a smeared ink stamp for any of your pieces over the 3 days you can enter them in the smudgy antics challenge on the smeared and smudged forum.
Here is the full blog roll for you to easily find your way to all the projects:
For my day one piece I have made a little piece out of a scrap, I started by putting the letters for hurt on a scrap piece of card while I sprayed them with perfect pearl mist. It was only when I removed them that I thought it looked cool and that I could do something with it. I covered the rest of the edges of the card with fired brick distress stain then let it dry. The stamps I've used on this are the heart and broken from the heart wings set and the make a bound lady from the femdom set, both of which can be found here
I have had a manic week so far and was starting to wonder when I would find time to get my dt piece finished for this week! I have made a scrap page this week which is something I don't do all that often, It's an 8" x 8" layout. The image I have used is called Girl 2 from the Hidden set . I thought as Valentines day is coming up I would go with a broken heart theme on this one. I coloured the image with promarkers than added a bit of glossy accents to the tears running down her face. Everything else has come from my stash, I didn't like how bright red the corner die was so I have it some splatters of fired brick distress stain.
I am going to link this up to the smudgy antics challenge on the smeared and smudged forum, the challenges there are a great way to earn some free stamps, Each month there is a freebie available for the freaky freebie challenge and then if you enter any of the challenges on the forum you are able to claim another stamp completely free!

It's time for a new challenge at Quoth the Raven, as we are on the month of love that is what our challenge is based on. For my piece I have created an altered chipboard heart, the image I used was POE Death Bed from IKE's Art. The flowers and bits are all things I've had stashed away for FAR too long so I'm slowly working my way through it all :) On the bottom I added a mini dominno and wrote Poe on it.
For my inspiration piece I have made a card using the gorgeous Valentine from IKE's ART, I coloured her in with promarkers and added a little bit of white chalk marker to her hair. The papers and card stock are all from Stampin up.
Today Smeared Ink are releasing 2 brand new sets and I am so excited to be able to share what I have made using some of those images. The smeared Ink DT have teamed up with the Art Journal Every day DT to show you some fantastic projects using these stamps.
Here is the full blog roll so be sure to check out everyone's work:
I have made 2 pieces, one using some images from the Keepers set
The background was created using several different acrylic paints on some mount board, I used my heat gun to cause some of it to bubble, I have then put a darker wash over it. The images have been coloured with Promarkers and copics and the hearts have been cut out from some material scraps I'd got.
My second piece is a card I have made using images from the Octopus Pie set
This time I have made a card, again I have coloured my images with Promarkers then layered them onto some papers from my stash.
